I love my life
“I love my life. I am powerful. I am free. I am wonderful. I am magical. I am me.”
More than just a beautiful refrain. Almost a little manifesto for joie de vivre.
Robbie Williams wrote this song for his children. It is a love letter to life—with everything that includes.
It is an encouragement to recognize one's own strength, accept challenges, and move forward with confidence: “I might not be there for all your battles, but you'll win them eventually.”
“Love My Life” is his message to all of us: You are more than your mistakes. Love yourself and love your life.
Words that are all the more powerful when you know that
they are rooted in his own experiences with depression, anxiety, and addiction. Struggles that he now speaks openly about.
On stage at the weekend, he said: “Anxiety happens in the future.” Fear lives in what we imagine, but joy comes from the present moment.
And that's exactly what you could feel at his concert in Frankfurt: 60,000 people in the stadium singing along with all their hearts. Pure energy. Lightness. The feeling of being in the right place at the right time. ✨
This song touches me because it radiates joie de vivre and at the same time reminds us of something we all need: contentment.
Not the pursuit of perfection, but the acceptance of life with all its ups and downs.
Gratitude for what is. Trust in what is to come. Self-acceptance that says: I am me.
Life satisfaction is a source of strength that has an impact far beyond the private sphere. It colors our actions, our decisions, our work.
This is also confirmed by a large-scale study by the University of South Australia: People with higher life satisfaction are on average 32% more likely to be fulfilled in their jobs. And this effect lasts for many months.
For me, this evening still resonates.
As an anchor for my #joyoflife and #lifesatisfaction.
I love my life.
What reminds you how much you love your life?
